Buddies
One Buddy kind per class: Rutaco is Disruptor, Trillan is Support, Palico is Assault. Rutaco and Trillan are native to Aesoland; the Palico came along with the Adventurers.
Rutaco
Builders: they work with tools and Radiantite.
Trillan
Singers: they support Adventurers with their voices.
Palico
The series' familiar Felynes, handy with weapons and items; they travelled to Aesoland with the Adventurers.
About Aesoland
A new land for the series; its ore, Radiantite, corrupts monsters into Radiant species found nowhere else.
Two of the three Buddy kinds, Rutaco and Trillan, are native to it; Palicoes arrived with the Adventurers.
Traversal uses crafted devices — the press release names the "Gliding Challenge" and the "Wind Platform".
